Rehabbing

All,
Just a note to say thanks for visiting even though I haven't posted in six days.
I was the passenger in a car that was hit on Main Street last week and I've been recovering at home for most of that time (I have a stack of letters from ambulance-chasing attorneys and health clinics to prove it). I'm sore but expecting to make a full recovery.
I'll have some new notes to pass along before long .. but being away from the newsroom, I haven't had the same time I usually have to dig, analyze, and then blog about what's happening in Akron.
Still .. I think we're all glad the election is now just one week away.
More soon .. Eric

Happy to hear that you are ok. I was wondering where you went.

P.S. There is a story. All the money wasted by the ambulance chasers, lol!

Been there, done that, Eric. I was involved in an automobile accident in November of '06, I think it was. I was not at fault, the other driver was and was cited. And in spite of the accident happening at high speed on I-76 eastbound, my car sustained surprisingly little damage to where I didn't even bother to file an insurance claim (and the car was so old and battered anyway, what was one more dent on it? For the record, my car was an '87 VW Golf GL with over 200,000 miles on it).

I received dozens and dozens and dozens of letters from ambulance chasing attorneys, so I've been in your shoes. So sorry to hear of your accident and I hope that no one was hurt too badly and that you make a full recovery. My sympathies.

It's good to hear you're ok. I hope you recover quickly.

Being here in Toledo, this afternoon alone, I have gotten THREE robo-calls. All for different issues. Amazing.

Take care.

So glad you are okay. Was wondering why you hadn't posted anything lately. Sorry you are having to deal with the ambulance chasers.

Sorry to hear about the accident and hope you mend fast.

Do a piece on those "Ambulance chasers" (you know, the ones that review the Police reports daily)when you get back to work.
