At lunch yesterday the restaurant had CNN on, which was carrying Cutts' testimony live.

If Davis had also been black do you think this case would still have received the same attention across the nation?

In the grand scheme of things does this case rise to the level of national interest that warrants live coverage on a national news channel? It seems this case provides sensationalism and titillation, which is all TV is really about.
