9:37 p.m. OK .. our computer isn't cooperating with the Canton Mayor's Race. It's the first set of results we'll be showing on the 10 p.m. news and the computer wants to show that it's Zero to Zero. We can't start the newscast with a 0-0 graphic! Healy is winning by 1,000 votes with 25 percent counted. I just spoke to Mark, my one videographer, at the Creighton camp and he's seeing the same results on display there too. We're trying to manually make a graphic now for the Canton Mayor's race and update it as we hit air .. now just 21 minutes from now.
9:41 p.m. Printing the rest of my scripts .. heading to the set to check the lights. Hoping we get more than 25 percent results from Stark County when we hit the air in a few minutes ..
Oh .. almost forgot my tie.
