Getting ready for Monday's debut

Sorry I've been absent the blogosphere so much the last 10 days .. I've been preparing for the transition to the Cleveland office for Monday's premier of the new 7 p.m. news broadcast. I'm very excited .. but I'm also trying re-sort my hours to find writing time.

In the meantime .. I thought I might give you a glimpse of my new partner, Carole Sullivan. We're both pretty excited to be a new team with a new focus on delivering the news.

Eric...I love the video. You two have great chemistry off-air. I can only imagine how well you will work on-air.

Is there any chance that the 7 p.m. newscast will be streamed? I caught Fox 8's 10 p.m. newscast live on the web a couple weeks ago. It's a pretty neat idea. I would love to watch your 7 p.m. show if I could.

I am so glad you are going to be back on the air, I have missed your friendly face and the way you present the news in a sensitive way without going over the top. Reminds me of Walter Cronkite.
I liked the piece on hunger in the schools, we need to see the face of hunger here at home.

Good luck with the new chair.

I just hooked up the digital converter box. It does not always pick up our great channel 3. The tweak comes down to how you bend the rabbit ears.

On February 19 analog is gone. I hope to be able to figure out how to point the RABBIT ears before Easter 2009... :*)
