Channel 3's Weekend Morning News gets interactive with viewers

Have you ever just talked out loud to the TV screen wanting to get your opinion to the anchor who just read a story you liked? or didn't like? or whatever?

Now's your chance to do it in real time.

This Saturday, June 14, WKYC's Saturday morning news will chat live with viewers as the news is being broadcast. The chat will begin around 8:45 a.m. and go until 11 a.m. ... enveloping the scheduled 9-10:30 a.m broadcast.

Anchor Kim Wheeler (her co-anchor Jeff Maynor is off this week by the way) along with Director Matt Babb and the crew will push the envelope to serve two audiences at once -- via a broadcast and a webchat.

Matt tells me that he also hopes to have a live stream of video from our overhead cameras so that viewers can watch on the web and see what's going on in the studio during the commercial breaks.

It's TV News like you've never experienced it before!
Enjoy! Eric
